CREATOR BUSINESS TEARDOWN (template) INPUTS (fill per use) - CHANNEL: {YouTube channel URL or @handle} - ALLOW_OPT_IN: {yes | no} [default: no. If yes, you may subscribe to lead magnets using only this inbox: {TEST_INBOX}] - FOCUS: {optional. One area to go deepest on, e.g. "the paid offer ladder"} OBJECTIVE Infer the creator's niche from the channel itself; do not assume one. Explain how this creator turns attention into revenue: where attention comes from, how it becomes an email or community contact, what that contact is sold, and at what prices. The deliverable is the money path and the specific moves that make it work, backed by evidence. A checklist of everything they have is not the deliverable. TOOLS AND ACCESS Use live sources only. Every figure must come from something you opened during this run. - YouTube: channel page, About, video list (last 90 days), Shorts, lives, community tab, pinned comments, video descriptions, transcripts of the 3 most-viewed and 3 most recent long-form videos. - Links: follow every link in About, descriptions, and pinned comments, including link-in-bio pages and shorteners. Record the final destination and any redirect hops. - Websites: home, offer pages, opt-in pages, thank-you pages you can reach without submitting personal data, pricing, terms, privacy policy. Read page source for platform and tracking signatures (Kajabi, Teachable, Skool, ConvertKit/Kit, ActiveCampaign, GoHighLevel, ClickFunnels, Calendly, Meta Pixel, Google Tag Manager, GA4). - Ad libraries: Meta Ad Library, Google Ads Transparency Center, TikTok and LinkedIn ad libraries, searched by creator name and business name. - Other platforms: Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Discord, Skool, podcast feeds. - Never submit an email, phone number, or payment. If ALLOW_OPT_IN is yes, submit only TEST_INBOX and report the nurture emails received during the run. EVIDENCE RULES Tag every claim: - [OBSERVED] seen directly, with link and date accessed - [ESTIMATED] derived from observed data, with the method shown (e.g. AdSense range = monthly views x a cited CPM range for this niche) - [UNKNOWN] not visible from outside. Say what would reveal it. Private analytics (retention, watch time, revenue, conversion rates, backlink profiles from paid SEO tools) are UNKNOWN unless the creator has published them. Do not fill them with plausible numbers. METHOD (in order; each stage has an exit condition) 1. Map touchpoints. List every channel, platform, link, page, and offer you can find. Exit: every outbound link from YouTube has a recorded destination. 2. Trace the money path. Draw the route from a cold viewer to each paid offer: entry content, CTA, capture mechanism, nurture, offer, price, upsell. Exit: each paid offer has a traced route, or a note on where the trail goes dark. 3. Audit each area below against the path. Spend depth where money moves, not evenly. Exit: every area has findings or an explicit UNKNOWN. 4. Benchmark. Pick 2 or 3 competitors in the same niche and audience size band (state how you chose them). Compare only on the dimensions where this creator is clearly different. Exit: at least 3 concrete differences, each with evidence. 5. Synthesize. Name the 3 to 5 moves that most explain the results, and the weakest link in the system. AREAS TO AUDIT A. Content engine: niche and positioning, formats and lengths, upload cadence over 90 days, series vs one-offs, hook and structure patterns from the transcripts, title and thumbnail patterns, keyword targeting, description and tag usage, views-to-subscriber ratio, comment-to-view ratio on a sample of 10 videos. B. Audience: who the content is for (stated and implied), pain points and desires the content leans on, beginner vs advanced segments, language and tone. C. Capture: lead magnets (type, relevance, landing page copy), CTA placement in video, description, and pinned comment, quizzes or assessments, newsletter, community entry points. D. Offer stack: every paid product and service with price, the free to low ticket to high ticket ladder, recurring products, bonuses, scarcity and urgency tactics, guarantees and refund terms, testimonials and case studies. E. Distribution: other platforms and how content is repurposed, cross-promotion, collaborations, sponsorships (name the sponsors), affiliate links (name the programs), paid ads found in the ad libraries with copy and offer. F. Infrastructure: landing page, email, membership, community, scheduling, analytics, and tracking tools, each with the signature that identified it. G. Compliance: affiliate and sponsor disclosures, privacy policy and terms on opt-in pages, consent handling on email capture. OUTPUT One document, in this order: 1. Executive summary: the money path in one paragraph and the 3 to 5 moves that drive it. 2. Money path diagram (a simple flow from viewer to each offer, with prices). 3. Findings for areas A through G, evidence-tagged. 4. Competitor comparison. 5. Transferable moves: each move stated so someone in another niche could apply it, with what it depends on. 6. Unknowns: what could not be seen and how to find it out. 7. Sources: every URL opened, with access date. WHAT WRONG LOOKS LIKE - A filled-in checklist with every heading present and no money path. Coverage is not the goal. - Subscriber counts, CPMs, revenue, or retention stated as fact with no source or method. - Equal depth on every area when most revenue runs through one or two of them. - Generic advice ("post consistently," "provide value") presented as a finding about this creator. - Tools named without the page-source or URL evidence that identified them. - Any personal data submitted when ALLOW_OPT_IN is no.
